You have access to:

• Cycling/Running Course
• 5 lane Lap Pool (4.5 feet in width – suitable for one swimmer per lane)
• Jacuzzi
• 2 outdoor Showers located in the Athlete’s Village
• Porta potty located in the Athlete’s Village
• Outdoor Kitchen: Grill & Fridge located in the Athlete’s Village.

IMPORTANT – MUST READ: This does not include heating costs for the pool.
Pool Heater Cost: $200 per 24 hours (in addition to the property rental)

What Pool Temps to Expect:

• June, July, August, and September this is usually not an issue. The water temperature will usually reach 80+ degrees on its own because of the high air temperature.
• March, April, May, and October are much more of a gamble. The pool needs about three days in a row of 95+ degrees weather, without severe winds, to get into the upper 70’s to low 80’s.
• November, December, January, and February you are Very Likely to require the heater if you want a warm pool. While the average air temperature during the day is 70+ degrees the nights can, at times, get close to freezing. Therefore, if the nights have been reaching cold temperatures for consecutive days leading into your trip, the pool might require as much as a two-day lead-in to reach 80 degrees. At $200 per 24 hours, this could equal a $500 heating cost for using the pool for just 1 day. We totally understand that this is a lot of money. Unfortunately, it is a reality of having a large propane heated pool along with desert nights and winds.
• Best option, particularly for triathletes, is to WEAR A WETSUIT. This could make the water temperature a moot point.
